WELCOME TO THE ODYSSEY!!
Are you ready? Your grand adventure is about to unfold! Welcome to the Odyssey, you will be traveling in it a lot to get to all the different Kingdoms!! Better get comfortable too!
Want to also adopt a puppy? You've got it! After you complete the game a cute Shiba Inu arrives in the odyssey. You can play fetch with him/her by throwing Cappy, but I'll explain more about him and the puppy later, but for now, you have to stop the evil Bowser from marring Princess Peach!!
THE CAPPY COMPANION
I will get to capturing later.
During your journey you will come across the Cascade Kingdom, the Sand Kingdom, the Wooden Kingdom, the Metro Kingdom, the Lost Kingdom, the Seaside Kingdom, the Lake Kingdom, the Luncheon Kingdom, the Cloud Kingdom, and many more!!
Each one is different with a different lay-out.
I don't really like explaining about the kingdoms(or from my previous "Super Mario Wonder", about the worlds or islands), so I will just explain about my favorite, the Seaside Kingdom.
First of all, I LOVE THE MUSIC!! Second of all, I love water-levels!
So the Seaside Kingdom is basically next to the ocean. Like a beach. but you can go under-water for even more adventure with all the different creatures and moons!
MINIGAMES? YOU'VE GOT THEM!!
There are a ton of Minigames to play, I will name them bellow:
1. Luncheon Kingdom:
Find golden beets to put inside the fork's soup! Get a moon if you do!(But be careful for piping hot soup!)
2. Metro Kingdom:
There are about 4 different minigames to play in the Metro Kingdom!
One of them you grab your trusty Motorcycle and race the Dinosaur down the alley.
Another one you get to try out the Jump Rope challenge! Get about 100 or lower for a moon I believe.
The third involves giant letters and Cappy. Use Cappy to move the letters to spell M A R I O.
Finally, there is one where you have to find all the musicians for the concert.
3. Seaside or Lake Kingdom:
Play a game of volley ball against one of the snails! Win for a moon!
4. There may be many more, but those are all the ones I know!
SUPER BALLOON HUNT ODYSSEY
Yes, I guess this is a Mini Game, but there is so much about it!
Number 1: Online.
This is the only online feature for this game! Play friend's levels or have them play yours(Nintendo Paid ONLINE Member Ship needed)
Number 2: Hide 'n' Seek(Hiding).
Hide balloons in the best hiding places! Either up in trees or on top of Peaches Castle. Remember, you are timed, so plan out the best hiding spot before hand!
Number 3: Seek 'n' Hide(Finding).
Play player's from around the world's levels! Find where they have hid there balloons, check every tree, every corner, every Toad to figure out where it is!(Actually, civilians don't help, including other creatures, koopas and goombas maybe, and especially Toads!)
Now that was a lot on the Balloon Hunt Minigame!
MARIO'S GOT STYLE
So, Mario is a fashion freak? Yes. You should check out his wardrobe. In fact, why don't I tell you about it!
Mario Odysseys includes a fair amount of outfits(including some that people may find inappropriate).
I will name a few(Note: If you want ANY of these outfits, you'll have to go to the Crazy Cap Store, which has a purple Cappy as its logo. Unlock more as you progress through game play!)
(EasterEGG: Balloon Luigi gives a different reaction to the outfits!)
Luigi Suit:
L is real!! Become the smaller Luigi!
Waluigi Suit:
Nintendo yet still hasn't done anything with Waluigi. All of him are these outfits for Smash and Odyssey!!
The only game he is playable in is the Mario Party Series(I think...)
Wario Suit:
This is a funny one being Mario's evil twin after all.
Clown Costume:
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This one is the most horrifying to me!
Astronaut Costume:

Basically, Bowser captures Peach(classic) and forces her to marry him.
